Aaron asked:

I am a senior in high school and tore my ACL completely in half this past football season. I had surgery on October 9, 2009. It was an allograft (ACL graft from a cadaver) and from what I hear, you cannot play football after this is done. It has been almost 4 months since the surgery and I can run/lift with no pain, but I am taking it slow. It gets sore but that’s about it. Any information on this subject would be helpful.

I played Junior College Football for two years and was the best player on the team. I maintained a 3.8 in pre-engineering doing classes like physics, chemistry, and calculus. I am transferring to University of Florida this fall to do engineering because I tried out and made the team as a walk on as a safety. I know UF has a top 25 engineering program and the best football program in the country.

((And by football, I mean soccer))
They’re three quarters black and one quarter green, and they’re round. I just want to know what they’re for.
I’ve seen a couple of people wearing one, including Roy Keane.

daisygirl asked:

My boyfriend are going to put a wager on a football game this weekend again – no money wager – we would do anything for each other – so doesn’t need to try to get something from each other.

Last week we wagers a gourmet meal lunch made by the loser and delivered. I won that one!!

Any suggestion on a good wager?

What is the fastest a football can travel?

I recall some one once suggesting that an object, such as a football, will not travel past a certain speed no matter how hard it is thrown. Can anyone confirm this?
Yes, I mean an American football.
I don’t want to know how fast a man can throw a football, or the average speed thrown. I was told that physics will not allow the football to travel past a certain speed, no matter how it’s thrown or who throws it. It could be the Hulk for all I know.

Is playing 3 out of 4 years of football good for extracurricular activities?

Jose asked:

I played football in the first three years of high school, but I decided to not play a fourth year. I’m still going to be taking 2 more extracurricular activities in place of football (none of which are sports related). I guess my question is, does that look bad for college that I stopped playing? Does it make me look like a quitter towards the college i want to apply?
