I have been watching more football recently and have heard the use of the word talisman a lot. I was wondering what exactly it took to be considered the “talisman” of your football time.

I am just wondering how alot of pubs and places are able to show football and other sports matches that are not actually being shown on sky sports or virgin media. Does any body know how this is done?

I am thinking about playing football again for the first time in a few years, how do I go about joining a pub level football team. I’m 22 btw.

Lately I have noticed football players having tonnes of tattoos on their arms, like David Beckham, and I think they just look like idiots trying to be hard. On musicians they work cos they seem to fit their career but I find them wrong on football players. What are your opinions?

How are the various shades of green cut into lines and patterns on football pitches? The grass must be the same length – they can’t just make certain sections longer than others. Does anyone know how they do it? Thanks.

It is called football but you must use your hands. A “down” is a good thing? Why does it look like a bunch of gaily colored armored men falling in a pile?
