I have never played football for an actual team, but i know everything about the game. The only position that i wish i could be on is tight end. I am 5′11” and 190 pounds. Is this too big to be a tight end? Im a freshman now in high school and i plan to play next year. What could i do over the winter and then in the summer to improve myself.

not too big, as long as you have decent speed. a TE should be a good blocker but also have good hands. More of a safety valve for the QB then someone who is expected to make huge plays. If anything you’re slightly short, but thats something that can be easily overlooked at the High school level manofmanyquestions64
