How do i become a college or pro football coach?
I am a freshman at UD and i would like to become a football coach. Next year i will be a coach at a near by high school. I was wondering what the top schools were for this and how do i go about reaching my goal.

coach at a big high school and win a few state championships. then apply for the job and youll have credibility. its a tough field to get into. since there are lots of good coaches, its very competitive. big kitty BACKin the gutter
The high school should give you a great start. Win some championships and make a name for yourself.
The pros do look at high school coaches. I’ve included an old article from the Colts website where the organization is recognizing a high school coach for doing well.
There was some great commentary during last nights game between the Colts and the Titans. The Colts head coach, Jim Caldwell, used to be a college quarterback coach of Kerry Collins (titans QB). Collins was then speaking with former Colts head coach Tony Dungy, and told him Caldwell was the best QB coach he had ever had. Soon afterwards, Dungy hired the guy….brought him to Tampa Bay, then eventually to Indianapolis.
Also, consider using video (YouTube) to help market yourself! My sister received a college basketball scholarship because my mom was persistant about mailing game videos almost daily to major universities. I can’t imagine if mom had YouTube available back then!
