How do you get prepared for flag football?
My church is entering a flag football tourney in about 2 months..And my pastor has put me as Quarterback..We entered the same tourney last year and we got killed and got last place.. How do I get metally and pyhsically prepared this time?

there is no way this is a serious question…unless you live in pittsburgh irvin_cowboy
Pray and then maybe a little practice. cubsnguns
Play while you are drunk. Start practicing now. Ben Jeepin
We play flag football between the stores at my company. We practiced plays that we made up. It was fun…maybe you need to watch football rerun videos…it may help. Go to and see if you look video clips or espn.com and watch plays. I’m sure you can find plays that you can practice with. GL!! I’ll be rooting for you…I LOVE FOOTBALL! lil_luv_baby
Since its for church make sure you pray and relax. Hopefully your not beting on God’s game, shame on you if you are. Honestly, make sure your confident and brilliant like Michael Vick when he lied to the NFL about dog fighting. You should be fine now. avion5739
Go out and play with the Devil. Listen to some Ozzy. Find some small creature to bite its head off and get smashed earthpigs1775
Mentally….Forget about last year.
Physically…..Run , run, and run.
Most importantly, have the pastor devise some pretty good plays. Learn from last years mistakes and have fun. Chitown fan
Well first of all you need to get your hands on some film of your opponents, study it several hours a day. Secondly, what religion are you up against? Mormons are kinda pushy and can be aggressive on the field (same with Jehovah guys). Protestants and Jews are tuff..beware. Now Catholics are some dirty sumbitches, they will throw mud in yer face and spit in your eye but oh man do they throw a helluva bbq afterwords! Watch some Rex Grossman film, hes borderline flag football material. Remember, 3 steps and throw buddy, eye of the tiger and all that jazz. baderuh
every league has different rules, so although it sounds pretty basic, learn the rules. if you get flagged for tons of cheap penalties you’ll certainly get killed. come up with 4 or 5 plays that you can flip to either side of the field and that will have several different options. and whatever you do as the QB, never throw it to the first guy you look at. look the defense off and throw it to someone else. that alone will save you 10 interceptions. yayatruly
