How long before football becomes an Olympic sport?
From basketball to hockey to track to weighlifting to boxing, it seems most respected sport in the world are part of the olympics. Yet the most important and respected sport in the world isn’t part of the Olympics, which is totally bogus. How long before football becomes a part of the olympics?

Football is pretty much only played in america… It isnt globalized enough to be an olympic sport.
maybe when Y!A stops writing football with (american) next to it and puts (world)
I’ve got to quit asking stupid questions such as this. It just makes me look like a fool.
Football American and Canadian, and it is not an international sport now answer mine.
“the most important and respected sport in the world”
popular in America?
yes, but not the World.
I don’t see it happening
i doubt it ever will be, football is strictly an american sport with leagues in canada and europe, but that’s about it.
it will never be an olympic sport. Its to dangerous and most pros won’t wanna play because their teams won’t let them
Dude, the USA is the only country that plays American football. In order for it to be an Olympic event, 12 countries need to have American football teams. Rugby is much more worldly popular than American football, but they don’t have an Olympic event.
