    I think it adds extra coolness to a costume when it’s a girl/guy dressed as something that is traditionally the opposite gender role… gemgirlv

    It sounds like a great idea! You will be utilizing clothes you already own, so you will be comfortable…

    Hey, I had a girlfriend last year that wore her Jersey, a skirt or shorts, and those Knee High Socks, her hat and put the black under her eyes. She looked Freaking Awesome! megtrose

    Yes…

    Actually, it is probably BETTER as a costume for a girl than a guy, since the stereotype/typical football player IS a guy!!!

    You could try stopping at Walmart/Target/etc to find some cheap shoulderpads or…some other type of padding to “costume” it a bit more…since I think you are concerned about looking too “normal/everyday” with it. (Pad up the shoulders or ?)

    Also…use some black makeup to put lines under your eyes…like war paint…players do that to cut down glare into their eyes from the lights, etc…

    Your name implies Christian…perhaps even intensely Christian…so the other suggestion of “Sure…jersey, pads, …and a short skirt..” might not be appropriate for you.
