Is it possible to play football after having ACL allograft surgery?
I am a senior in high school and tore my ACL completely in half this past football season. I had surgery on October 9, 2009. It was an allograft (ACL graft from a cadaver) and from what I hear, you cannot play football after this is done. It has been almost 4 months since the surgery and I can run/lift with no pain, but I am taking it slow. It gets sore but that’s about it. Any information on this subject would be helpful.
