Can a track sprinter with a scholarship play on a college football team without having played high school?

I really like football, but my high school never had a football program. I am a very talented sprinter and if I get a scholarship to a good school for being a track sprinter, do you think I would have any chance of being on the football team? I am just as fast or faster than the average football team’s fastest runners, so can I play?

I graduated high school in 2004 where I played varsity for 3 years. And since I have been out I have played semi-pro football for 3 years, and I have not been paid for it. I plan on applying to various colleges for the spring/fall semisters of 2008. And when I get there I want to play football for whatever school I go to. What all do I need to do now to get ready (other than the exercise that I am already doing) and what do I need to do once I get into the school?

My favorite college football team is USC, and my favorite player is John David Booty, the QB, becase i think he’s really good, and i’ve always liked QB’s out of all the different positions.

How do I make a college football team with no experience?

I am 6′1 225. Can throw the football 65 yards. And I have great accuracy. And good speed around 4.7 speed. I am a student of the game and really want nothing more but to help a college team win some games. However my problem is I haven’t played any highschool football. In my senior year i decided to try out for the team mid season and they let me on but i never had enough time to play. So how would I go about making a college football team?

Tossing the football around, avoiding being tackled; so they pitch the ball to their team mates with little time left, and they went down and scored.
