My friend is from Brazil and moved here a few years ago. She tells our friends that soccer is so much tougher than football and soccer players are more athletic and its more dangerous. She also likes football and says that they’re not as talented or as skillful as soccer players. I told her soccer players don’t get injured as often and there injuries aren’t like the ones football players get. How can I convince her that football players are more tougher than soccer players?

I’ve been thinking about playing HS football in 2008. I have played tennis and squash for a long time. I am 5 foot 10 inches tall and 170 pounds. My 40 time is inbetween 4.5 and 4.8 seconds. I am good at catching the ball. My tackling has been improving. If I continue at this rate I can be a pretty good tackler. I’ve never played on an actual football team. I have played tackle football with my friends and they think I should play on a high school team. What position should I play?

Today I was playing a little football game with my friends. I threw it deep about 50 yards and my friend caught it. It was a spiral, just that the nose of the football wasnt aimming down. Does anyone know why it doesnt aim down when i throw it?

Ok, well as funny as it may seem, it’s true. Everytime I play football with friends or whoever and i’m going for the catch, I ALWAYS end up either jamming my finger (Which hurts alot) or dropping them. Is there any way to improve my catching skills?

i am a high school football player. my position is defensive lineman and possibly offensive next year. i am starting to get very serious about football since next year i will be a junior. i was recently moved up to varsity as a sophmore and its a whole lot diffrent. what are some thing me and my friends can do to train during the off season. to help things such as strength, speed, stamina, endurance. like what workouts and so on.
