How can I get better at football within a year to play JV for high school?

I really want to play JV football for my high school, but I haven’t played a single year of football and I can’t practice because no one in my family can help out and all my friends are little girls who are too afraid of the cold and snow to go out and play. What can I do?

I am 6′1, i weigh 185 pounds, and bench 235pounds what football position should i play next year in high school football?
Also should I go for JV or Varsity?
Ps. im a 16 year old sophmore.
235 is my max but i not blazing fast but noctiably faster than most linemen.
My squat is 280 and my 40 time isnt relavent right now cause i ran it last year when i weighed 225 pounds.
