I think it’s because football is the biggest betting sport- that’s all!
Football is much slower than basketball and there are too many breaks in between plays! Basketball is a constant game of momentum and tempo, how is it more boring?
Hitting in football is way overated, I’ve never seen hits that made me say “Oh my god!” They wear protective equipment anyways. Now if they go at it like rugby players, well then that’s a different story!
