Timmy Jones asked:

In high school, field goal kickers can use that little black block to put the football on so the ball sits a little higher. Is that allowed in college and pro football?

It is called a Tee, and College and Pros use a holder on Field Goals and Extra Points. They only use the Tee for Kickoff, unless it is really windy and then they sometimes have to substitute and use a holder. sgoldperson
