bradley asked:

I have freshman football tryouts in a week and I have no idea what position to play.

I’m 5′8 and 140 lb, I have a lot of stamina, I can run a mile in about 5:50.

Any suggestions?

Try out for what you want to play. Your coach will fit you in where he thinks is best, based on your ability anyway. inTHEgaddadavida

Depends on you 40 times. If you have speed then you should try out for defensive back and wide receiver. Sounds like a good fit for you, but this will depend on where the coach thinks you will fit best. Do you have good hands? Maybe even quarterback if you are smart and can throw. Running back is also a good choice if you like to run. It is hard to say without seeing you in action. I could put you through some skills test to see where you would best fit, but your coach should do the same. Good luck and have a great season. onephatguy69
