What is the best college football movie ever?

Since most of the college football teams begins their football season today, or at some point this Labor Day weekend. I would like to take the time, to ask what is the best college football movie ever. And also please tell me why, you think that movie is the best college football movie ever. The only 2 college football movies that I can think of are Rudy, and We Are Marshall. And I bet there will be people having Rudy on the list, since I bet that it is an old favorite, but will a more of a recent movie We Are Marshall going to be on the list? And I bet that there are some others that I could be forgetting about at the moment.

The best one I ever saw was called (I think) Friday Night Lights, or something like that. I actually watched it on a screen that was set up on a football field, while I was in college.

“Friday Night Lights” is high school.
“Trouble Along the Way” has John Wayne as a college coach.

The best football movie in terms of story lines is remember the titans because it shows true struggles the world had to live with at the time and how the game of football brought people from all races together.

Having played football in college I must say “Rudy” is truly the greatest college football movie. It captures the prestige of a team with amazing tradition and also the strength of the human will to achieve. This kid had a dream and realized it even when everyone around him thought he was a fool.
“The Program” is little more of an extreme side of the subject but there was nothing positive to be gained from the film, just a shameful reality of the weaknesses of some programs.
