What machine to use for working out legs for football speed?
When I go to the gym, what machine or what type of exercise should I do to work on the muscles in my legs that I use for running speed in football? What is the name of the muscle that is responsible for speed?

which means u would want to train them once a week
with 4 sets of squats
3 sets of leg presses
and 4 sets of hamstring curls
3 sets of calf raises
3 sets of sitting calf raises
that should do the trick for you! tennislover
If your trying to become quicker, weights wont play that big a part. It important but look into learning more about twitch fibers and technique. Also look into plyometrics.
