I am working on a project and need help with this question. I played football and coached the game for many years and in my experience, I would guess some 70 to 80 percent of players suffer from some degree of jammed fingers. I have also heard that these hand and finger injuries can lead to arthritis in the joints later on in life; do know anything about that? Please help.

I don’t know where to find this info but, when I played wide out, I broke ALL my fingers at some point. I would think the percentage would be quite high.

I think that mostly WR/CB/RBs suffer from broken fingers or finge injures.

I’ll say that 55% of these three positions will suffer through a finger injury at atleast one point throughout there professional career.
