Alot of teams utilize the premiere shooting guard (i.e. Kobe, Jordan) as the feature player. Many teams use the small forward (i.e. Melo, Lebron, Pierce). Alot of teams just use the PG as another shooter to spread the floor, and share the responsibility of bringing the ball up and getting into sets.
