Dave asked:

Ok i’m planning on trying out for my highschool football team next year as a sophmore. I’m currently 6ft and weigh around 180 pounds. I’m not exactly ripped but i plan on lifting and working out alot before next season starts. I dont have a good stat yet but i know i pretty fast.

What position should i try to go for. I was looking more towards playing WR or TE but i dont know.

ya, you should try out for wide receiver, tight end, and a corner back. Travis

If you are not sure you should get some people who know your game together and have them run you on the plays for the positions you are trying for then, compare and contrast your development in-tell you find a position you feel most comfortable in. Then it’s all up to first of all your practice and your coach and last but not least you. Drewwright74

alot of people answered receiver or tight end but if u wanna look on the defensive side of the ball u can always try to be a linebacker. if you are into having contact that’s the way to go. And if you become really good at the position and u like it you can try becoming middle linebacker which is essentially the qb of the defense football fan
