What state do you think plays the best football?

By that I mean which state takes football seriously and has a large majority who love football and has top high school and college football teams.

My vote goes to the state of Texas!
I am not a Texas fan lol. I am a New Yorker.

    Oklahoma and Louisiana are better than Texas per capita, but Texas is best overrall because of sheer size. Tornado Alley

    Yeah I think thats a no brainer. I hear Texas high school football games clear the whole city out. But I think California and Florida has the best talent. And the Southern states like Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida and etc aren’t too far behind Texas. KingMR

    I’d say Pennsylvania. They really stick it out and stand by their teams, take it very personally whenever any PA team gives less than 100%. lmspencr

    per capita I’d have to go with Oklahoma. I know you are a Texas fan so I’ll give you the numbers by majority but per capita you can’t touch OK Becky

    We are football fanatics.Whether it be high school,college or professional,we love it all,male or female.
    And my high school has one of the best football teams in Texas(:We’ve won state 4 times,one of the football coaches played for the New England Patriots,and the other worked with Dallas Cowboys.
    And a football player who plays for the Cardinals went to my high school and took us to state Alyssa[Lakers!]

    I’d say New York or California. They both have some talented and historic teams, with the Jets, Giants, 49ers, Raiders and Chargers and all those teams play exciting football. Definitely got to be one of those two states. Ryan – The Aussie Packer Fan
