What was that one college football team that lost because a penalty?

There was some college football team who lost because of a failed conversion because of a penalty where the guy who got the touchdown tossed the ball up in the air. I think their uniforms were purple. Could someone tell me which game this was??? This was about a month or two ago if I remember correctly.

    It was Washington. They would have only tied if he had made it.

    The reality is that they lost because their kicker couldn’t make a clutch 35 yard field goal. Rob B

    Washington was playing BYU and the Washington QB got the penatly after he scored a touchdown, so the penatly moved the extra point attempt back. And the kicker missed the extra point so they lost. Skullhunteral
