What will American football be called once soccer becomes the most popular US sport?

Me asked:

Soccer in the US will eventually be called football, just like it is in every other English speaking country. I think American football should be called wrestle ball, catch ball, ten yard ball, or hand ball. Do you have any other ideas?

    football in america is called american football all over th world they dont need to change anything football is soccer and american football is football if you get what i mean aafon

    soccer will never become the most popular sport in USA, but even if this happened, nothing will change. Americans will always call “football” soccer, and “American football” football. ronniemagia
