It is called football but you must use your hands. A “down” is a good thing? Why does it look like a bunch of gaily colored armored men falling in a pile?

Americans wanted to be like the British who created many sports like soccer, rugby, tennis, cricket boxing.
What Americans did was to to made some changes. for instance cricket is today baseball and football is rugby. although they had a big success in the U.S.A, they never had the world wide British success.

I suppose one of the reasons is what you saying. lack of action. STA-TOW

When it comes to Professional sports in America everybody has lost their heart. It is all about the money. So professional American football players don’t dig in as much as professional sports in other countries.

American’ football has some amazing players. but as a whole lacks the heart and want to win attitude that other countries hold in their club teams in soccer. quarry206

I agree. I really can’t understand how Americans can think our football is boring when a 60 minute American football game takes 3 hours to play. I have tried to watch the super bowl and by half time i’m falling a sleep. Tosh
