How did the Football and baseball end up this way, why not Football in the summer, and baseball in the winter? They are both able to be played indoor and out.

First of all, everybody wants to watch or root for USC during fall and winter.

    Therefore, root for USC

Baseball can’t be played in the rain or snow unless their in a stadium that has a roof, or is domed. Where as Football can be played in any weather.

So the seasons dont interfere with eachother because at the lower levels, like high school, many players play both.

And have you ever tried to play baseball in the winter? Its not fun at all. Football can be played in the cold but baseball cant.

Way back when there were no inside facilities for either.

You’ll have to do your own research on this one.

    Just think about it first.

  5. Mike J says:

because football is played by MEN who can handle a little weather. Baseball is played and watched by sisses. If there is no clock it is not a sport… see baseball and golf.
